Kowhai Cottage is a Reggio Emilia inspired childhood education centre located at our Victory site in Nelson. With a focus on experiential learning, Kowhai Cottage offers a calm, enriching and supportive environment in which children can explore, create and express themselves. Children are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and are offered a range of resources and facilities to cater to their needs and interests, including a play garden and art studio. Kowhai Cottage also helps to prepare children for their transition to school by fostering valuable life skills such as resilence and mindfulness and encourages children to make healthy food choices by offering a nutritious menu.
